SHRG1Z - The second phase of the collaboration with Giger, The S1 as cool as a polar bears nuts! The design is sandblasted into the top of the body and headstock ala the JEM90th and the smoke mirror inlay finishes it off very nicely. There are no official specs so consider this purely a guess to be revised later.
REVISED - The show guitar was Japanese production as stated above with very sharp and crisp detail. I was told the production run would be Fujigen built, they were not. They were built in Korea and they were not sandblasted as the show guitar was but IMO it was a mold pressed into a plaster coating on the body. There was a distinct lack of the beautiful detail of the original, and, they shrank. I had several come in with the finish coming off and the "plaster" bulging underneath as, wood shrinks, plaster does not. The hardware also corroded just sitting in the case. If you are searching for one of these guitars I highly recommend inspecting it in person.
I chose enough guitars to fill my preorders and cancelled the rest.
